21:00, Wednesday July 30, 2008, on the brand new TOPMODEL runway in SELLES SAINT DENIS, the record held by team GAMBLE-HAYS (USA), 12 hours 21 minutes and 40 second set up on June 24, 2006 finally fell down!
This record is beaten of more than 15 minutes by the team Vincent LABROUVE and Daniel LENTIN on VOLENBULLE XXL equipped with a special homemade brushless motor which swing a single bladed carbon prop and fed up by LiPo Hot-Lips batteries, with a time of 12h 36' 46".
One could not dream better grand opening!

The special brushless motor produced by Daniel and the monoblade carbon propeller imagined and moulded by Vincent. Of course, VOLENBULLE XXL airframe is an extrapolated personal design of the VOLENBULLE french Electro7 (LMR 7) champion.
