Nearly UNBREAKABLE HANDGLIDERS

FÍK is made from expanded polypropylene. Looks like polystyrene, but it is a different material. Rubber properties with stiffness result in new quality of toughness and lifetime of the flying model aeroplanes.

Conventional balsa wood, polystyrene or composite hand launch gliders have a lifetime in the children hands only a few minutes. FÍK lasts weeks.

If you however break it, you can simply glue it with hot melt glue, epoxy, some types of cyanoacrylate ( Loctite 406) and polyurethane glue (PUREX).

You can glue plastic tape over leading edge, central part of the wing and the nose of fuselage for a longer life.

Some models you need to twist the tail surface, wing or bend the fuselage, or add some ballast to nose, so they fly for longer distances.

FIK 30, FIK 45, FIK 60 (60= span in centimetres) is good for indoor and outdoor flying.

They are light, easy to launch.

Bigger FIKs- 80,100,120,150 are for outdoor flying.

They are often fitted with RC and electric engines - they are ideal for RC beginners
